QuoteS of Lunar Legends Tsukihime

Its simply the story of a vampire and a boy. What so not simple is that the boy can see the ‘lines and dots’ that if traced will kill the thing, and apparently he cant remember 10 years of his life. The vampire, a girl, and is the ‘original’ vampire or a ‘true ancestor’ of vampires and is actually afraid to drink blood. Simply put, the boy kills the vampire for no reason and the resurrected vampire starts to love him (or does she?). Anyway, there are three perspectives of life here, a normal boy, an immortal vampire, and a ‘Claire Bennett’ exorcist.

On with the quotes

Vampire: What do you learn here Shiki?

Boy: We study history, remember arithmetic formulas and elements of the period table, and we learn languages of this country and other languages. So a lot of stuff

Vampire: What for? Is all this useful?

Boy: Well, I don’t know…

Vampire: Your time is rather limited so you shouldn’t waste it like that. I don’t understand why you waste your time with this superfluous stuff.

(WHY STUDY WHEN YOU CAN FILL YOUR LIFE WITH BETTER THINGS TO DO? WHO KNOWS IF YOU CAN EVEN LIVE TO 18)

Now about food!!

Vampire: I don’t drink human blood

Boy: Why?

Vampire: If fish and birds have the same intelligence level as you, would you still eat it? Would you still eat it as a meal without feeling regret?(WOULD YOU!!!)

Well it may not sound funny in real words, but if you summarize them

You should’nt study hard in school cuz you have a short life. Just live a youthful school live. You wont use what you learn anyway!

or

I don’t drink blood cuz humans are smart like me…I think. I eat burgers cuz minced chicken meat obviously don’t have feelings.

If what I’m ranting is not funny to you, its just cuz your giggly glands not workin or you just too normal to get it. Me not normal. Me weird. Me like me!

Weekly Random Ranting

It’s midsemester examination week. It’s pretty annoying to know that anything official you do here will affect your final grade in the whole foundation course. Anyhow, old habits come to bite. Last minute studies and over relaxed behavior (which eventually turns to panic) and dumbass lazy to do any exercise. What am I gonna do with myself…

Yesterday, for the first time, all my family members came to visit me, even if they don’t come at the same time. Turns out my brother is going to do his internship at Inteam Records in KL. We met after a long time. Brother talk. He advised me about my studies. I wanted to go to India, but most of my family (now all of them) wants me to go to Poland or Chez Republic. I cant think of anything reasonable enough to backup my decision. Thinking as noble as possible, India is the best choice. But thinking life-wise, I’m not supposed to live 5 years in a country which prides itself of high death rates and poverty. It even has the same relatively boring weather as any part of Malaysia, and even hotter (yay?). I would really like some advise if anyone actually reads this post/blog….

Back to unseriousness, last time I took a bus back after an exam, I decided to wave at any pedestrian who were looking at the bus (when its moving). Its kinda fun when they make such amusing faces. Its even better when their the cute ones (hehe). Last time I did crazy bus stuff, it was sticking my palms at the window and glare inside cars during a traffic jam. Some of the children wave at me. Most of them tried as hard as they can to control ‘macho’. Its fun to play with people you don’t know (not dirtily speaking)……

Its been a nice life so far. I hope someone wishes for my health besides my family (they raise me. Of course they do). Its nice to know you have someone who cares (not ur family). My health did not deteriorate in the past few weeks. They usually do. That means I’m starting to live healthy enough. But I still have the daily-more-than-4-times-in-a-row sneeze. I like to think its because of resdung (still cant find English for it). Still, it’s the only thing about my health that’s getting worst.

Enough ranting, here’s a pic. It says “HOHOHOHO” in an anime arrogant woman tone :)

Of mammals and fears[my fears]

Its small, its furry, its cute..

But in the next 120 minutes, its road kill.

We had a lab session for anatomy where we were going to ‘cut open’ a mouse for us to ‘learn the body systems’. Well, there certainly was learning, all of it was about the cutting. At first we were very careful not to spill any blood as not to give the alive-yet-unconscious mice a hemorrhage. But then I think we burst ‘his’ subclavian vein or sumtin, and all hell broke loose. It was cut, it was torn, it was mutilated, it was separated from organ to organ, and above all, it was GROSS yet somehow enjoyable [at least for us]

I was supposed to be unable to take a life. Technically I didn’t. I think the mice died of trauma. It woke in the middle of the ‘surgery’ and scared himself to death looking at his genitals being pulled and removed. By the time half his skin was of, I was not afraid. Although it still sent me screaming when they tried to cut its pencil-thick tail. Well, who wouldn’t?

There is a bunch of the mice’s pic on facebook. It’s a memoir of those that served for the future of the country…
